Document View

The Lightmap Document View is where users can edit their documents with ease. The editor consists of two UI parts: the content editor for the current document being viewed and the sub document list for managing the document's sub documents. The sub document list is a powerful tool that allows users to build a hierarchy of documents effortlessly. It functions as a deeply nested bulleted list, enabling users to quickly jot down their ideas. Each list item represents its own document, which can be opened in the document view to be viewed and edited as the current document. This feature provides a seamless way to navigate between different sections of a project or to focus on specific subtopics. To further enhance the editing experience, the Document View toolbar offers various options. Users can easily change font settings, such as font type, size, and color, to customize the appearance of their documents. Additionally, the toolbar provides quick access to the user interface, allowing users to toggle between different views or access additional features.

One of the standout features of the document editor is the slash command menu, which offers a range of helpful tools for editing documents. Users can access these tools by typing a forward slash ("/") followed by a command. This intuitive feature streamlines the editing process and saves time and effort. In summary, the Lightmap Document View provides a user-friendly interface. The sub document list simplifies the creation of document hierarchies, allowing for effective organization of ideas. The Document View toolbar offers font customization options and easy access to the user interface. Additionally, the slash command menu enhances productivity by providing quick and convenient editing tools. With these features, users can effortlessly create and edit visually appealing and well-structured documents in Lightmap. The AI Assistant tool can be accessed through the toolbar or the slash command menu, further enhancing productivity and providing valuable assistance.
